Yes the G35 coupe is a skyline but not really. Here is the link to the 07 skyline talks http://club3gfl.com/board/showthread.php?t=5147 my mistake they are saying "north of 450 HP"

awesome....when is the intended date of completion?

It was supposed to be end of February to beable to show in Autorama here in Detroit, but thats not going to happen. The goal right now is to have it done by Spring to get it on a drag strip to see if it will really run 10's. I'll post some pics laster today.

i think that they are making a mistake pricing it like that, your "import scene people" typically arent going to be able to afford it. for instance, look at the popular tuner cars? with the exception of the evo, and the STi, what do your popular tuner cars have in common? a price tag under 30k...so theyre going to make an elitist tuner car??

also, i look forward to the engine, because they dont have a 3.8L V6 that i know of right now, and for a 3.5, woudl they be using the VQ35DE, but adding forced induction? that engine makes a crank output of 255/246, so running 12psi they could conceivably get their 400hp...

or are they going with a whole new drivetrain? the special that i watched on the tokyo auto show mentioned that they may even use a VK series engine, and boost that..but it is all speculation at this point.

It's going to be the same motor that is in the G35 just with upped horsepower. I think they should have stuck with the inline 6... Plus the price tag is well... very pricey.

Thats one badass car, personally I like the r34 as a car better than just the motor, its got an on board computer that shows everything... how cool is that, also the gyro scops on the wheels... thats an awd setup for you mother!!!!

Technically what he is doing is taking the 240 and making it into a RHD Silvia or as some may know it... a S15. The silvia motor (SR20DET) wasn't powerful enough (according to him) for autocross/drag/drift which is what he wants to do. So thats why the skiline motor is being dropped in. He has all the JDM side skirts and rear bumper and wing off of a Silvia including tail lights. Next is to get the front bumper, fenders, hood and head lights. if you haven't seen one I suggest you look at one. Its the hawtness IMO. It's a lot of money but so far its been money well spent.

Just a few pics... Not the best quality since they are from my camera phone.
1) After the KA24 (stock) motor was taken out
2) After engine bay was painted Aspen White Pearl (stock color)
3) Skyline motor with Greddy intake manifold
4) Different angle of motor
5) 90 mm throttle body off of an Infiniti Q45 I can get my whole arm up in the manifold and move it around
