Can any one tell me what could cause my 96 mirage s to consume so much gas. I had a tuneup recently and i think the timing might have been advanced, would that be it or could it be something else too? I also use premium for fuel, is that bad? good? any suggestions or ideas?

have you done any tuning or mods to the engine? that car was designed to run on 87 oct. if you haven't done any mods you are wasting your money on the 93. how many miles on the car since tune up and did you have everything done?

I just had a tuneup on the car, very recently, no modifications except a little advance timing, I will start using 87 though if it was designed to burn it, gas prices are getting way too high anyway. Thanks for the input.
I read your reply Seth,:) i was just checking things out didn't know which room people read more
