Hey guys, i was wondering if there was a way for me to get a cheap turbo kit,i can find a turbo at the local junkyard (old saab turbo), like make one myself for under 1000....im not talking 100+ HP im talking just like an extra 40 or 50, to give me an edge on some of the cars im almost beating....i have no idea what parts i need, i have someone who said they'd install it all for me, its just a matter of it being possible for me to get stuff...im only 17 so money is the big issue..Thanks Guys! Have you tried eBay? One of my friends goes through turbos like they are going out of style Basically what he does, is watches the turbos on eBay for one that did not make a reserve price. Then he emails the person directly and asks if they would take a rather low ball offer. This can be somewhat of a hit or miss method, and can take a while. But he has gotten Nitrous kits for $200, superchargers for $250, and I beleive a turbo (complete kit) for around $200. Like I said, this can be a rather cumbersome way of saving some money, but if that is your main goal, you can get a nicer one for less. Hope this helps,

Not sure what year Galant your running but if it is a 7G (1994-1998) you can use a DSM set up. If you have a 8G I4 (1999-2003) you can use certain parts off of a DSM. If you have the V6 then your going to have to use a turbokit from Tearstone or a supercharger from RIPP.
