I can remember reading about the new 260HP colbalt SS that came out with 205 HP, this car could have been 260 HP but they will wait until sales are down. The GTO was a 5.7 litre for 1 year and sales were so bad they put a 6.0 litre in the car the very next year, screwing all those 1st year GTO car buyers. They put out a below average car and then make power upgrades, transmissions upgrades and if all else fails, they add wings, spoilers and airdams. GM's present leadership needs to hire someone with a passion about cars. This was the biggest car maker in the world a few years ago and there is no excuse for falling behind. Where has GM went wrong?

GM CEO made 4.66 million last year
GM CFO made 2.95 million last year

awwww, poor GM guys LOL...I work for Ford and Mercury in sales and sales have been down everywhere the last couple of months...Since Bill Ford has taken over, Ford has a very nice line-up with '05 and '06 vehicles and the new models like the Ford 500 and Mercury Montego, Ford Freestyle, the new Mustang, Mercury Mariner, Ford Fusion ( the next Nextel Cup car) and Mercury Milan are all great vehicles..Ford has hit a homerun with these vehicles and it's nice to see that they are not so concentrated on just trucks like they have been for many years although the F-150 has been the best selling truck for the last 28 years..The car business is a very tough business right now.
