You have some options: THIS MAY BE HARD TO FOLLOW You can run 1 stereo amp with a 2 ohm load- wire each woofer in parellel for a 2 ohm load, hook both up to each channel, make sure your stereo amp will handle a 2 ohm load. You can use 2 stereo amps- each amp hooked up to the woofer's 4 ohm coils. You can use a mono amp by taking 1 speaker's 4 ohm coils, putting them in parellel for a 2 ohm load. Then repeat this for the other speaker. Take both of the 2 ohm loads and put them in series for a 4 ohm load. This would make the mono amp see a 4 ohm load at it's output. ***( OR ) *** Amp will see the same load as above *** You can use a mono amp by taking each speaker's 4 ohm coils and hooking them up in series for a total of 8 ohms and then taking both 8 ohm loads and put them is parellel for a 4 ohm load. Some high dollar mono amps are stable to 2 ohms, I think there is even a few that will handle 1 ohm. If you have something like this, you may want input from someone that is using this set-up.
