It should be on the left side.. The stock one is all black about an inch and a half in diameter... Its right on top... Atleast my 98 gst spyder is like that... Should be the same.

a good BOV for the 2nd gen dsm's is the 1st gen BOV. It holds more boost and you can pick them up pretty cheap. Plus it all depends on if you want to loop your air or vent to atmosphere. Just something to think about

if youre looking for sound, you will want one that vents to the atmosphere, but those arent legal in some states.
