ok, everytime i turn the keys off and take them out everything that is supposed to be saved on the cd player delets. the time, bass, balance front back everything i have to reset it. i need to get that fixed before i sell the car, thats the only thing i have left to do before i sell it. i wont to be able to tell somebody that there isnt a thing wrong with it. i know that its not a big deal BUT! it is to me. little things like that piss me oFF! haha hit me back!

ok this is a simple problem to fix. all you have to do is make sure you have a constant power source, and your accessory wire connected. so what you can do just to make sure everything is working is run a wire to your battery, and then run a wire to the radio fuse in your fuse box(make sure the fuse isn't blown to).

sounds good to me or just make sure that ( if this is an aftermarket stereo) you have both power wires hooked up one (usually red)should go to a keyed power supply and the other (varies in color) goes to a contant. if you didn't use a wiring harness it is easy to disregard the constant power wire. ( because technically the stereo will work w/o it)

hey! make sure if you have to hook the keyed power wire to a constant that you turn off the stereo when you turn off the car! otherwise bye-bye battery.you really don't want to wire it that unless you really have to. I would rather lose the memory than have it wired that way.
