amp hook up in an 03 eclipse

i just bought a 03 eclipse and i decided that i wanted to keep the factory 6 disc changer , but i wanted to hook up my amp and subs from my previous car. Just wondering how i would hook it up. I know most it will be pretty easy but the thing that kinda stumps me is hooking up the remote wire where can i hook that up and it be pretty quick and easy? I know a decent amount about cars and i really just dont want to wire it into the ignition like most people are telling me to. Well i would appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks! -josh

lol.. why the hell are people telling you to hook up the remote wire to your ignition. Hook it up to a fuse that turns on and off with the key. I usually hook it up to the power window fuse.

lol i couldnt tell you why most people were telling me that. I just kinda went with what they were saying because this isnt to much of familiar territory for me but ill just go with what you said :p im used to older cars, mostly firebirds and camaros of the 80s or earlier so i didnt really want to get in there since i know alot has changed since the cars then. Well im in the process of moving i appreciate the help and ill let ya know how it goes. Thanks! -josh
