I have a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT. Whenever I start idling for too long, like at a stoplight, white/gray smoke starts gushing out of the exhaust. Once I speed up, it seems to go away. I've recently had an oil change and some sparks/wires replaced. I have also been told recently that I have an engine oil leak and that I need a new timing belt. Not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Based on your description, it sure sounds like valve seals to me. Are you loosing oil between oil changes?

Yes, I am losing oil between changes. I usually need to put more oil in once every couple months, because of the leak. Do you know what repairs would be needed specifically and how much I could expect to spend on these repairs? Thanks.
