can anyone tell me if a 1st gen 7 bolt is the same as a 2nd gen 7 bolt---would a 93 eclipse gsx awd with a 7 bolt be a japanese 7 bolt or a chrysler crankwalkin 7 bolt??????????

The 1st gen didn't HAVE a 7 bolt it had the 6 bolt. I'm guessing the jap engines are exactly the same as teh american ones...

they are the same except for the fact that 1g motors were assembled in japan, 2g motors were assembled in illinois. although any motor can crankwalk, the liklihood is greater in the 2gs because those were the ones that had out of spec thrust bearings.
