well if you really really care about sound and want AWSOME performance i would honestly suggest the Tanabe Ultra Medallion and down pipe. i was blown away but the insane amount of difference it made n sounded when i put it on a friends 98 GS-T, ive got a custome 3 1/2 but if i would have ran a smaller turbo would have def got the tanabe. as for your choices id say the N1 ive never liked the sound greddy's make, sounds way too ricer n honda for me but thats just my opinion

n1 is cheaper and more versatile. it shares a common flange when you are ready to upgrade the cat and downpipe. the greddy will need to be cut and welded. id go with the n1 thats what i have an i have no complaints

the performance will depend on if you have a turbo eclipse or not. if you have a non-turbo, you won't see all that much power increase. if you have a turbo, then you will notice a good power increase.

but the difference between the two isn't all that much. ive heard that they both sound about the same and they both give about the same amount of HP.

you won't go wrong with either one you buy. personally, i have the evo2 on my 3G eclipse and i love it.

i just had the HKS high power full cat back installed on my 98 gsx, thing sounds awsome, deep drone at wot and a low rumble at idle, not that ricer high pitched sound at all.
