ok i hadda double check to see what motor ttype you have exactly but what it seems is that you have a 4G64 like all the other spyder owners except your pushes a litle more power then the 2nd gen spyder (It makes 147 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 158 foot-pounds of torque at 4,000 rpm.) honestly to tewll you the truth they arnt very good for 'racing' because its hard to find 'racing' parts for this motor in reasonable cost you can have n e thing you want.. just with this motor you gotta pay.. and as for making it look good... like just about all mitsubishi's making it look good can be achieved very easilly ju7st depends on what you want... and my advise to all people starting with their motors is get a CAI (cold air intake) and a good exhaust (not just a tip) get it breathing and putting out air fairly well and go from there

hoped that help, and welcome to the forum

from what i have heard from other members you can run any turbo (make the kit youself they dont make kits for the 4G64) and i believe the max boost they can take with stock internals is only 8lbs i believe

check out this page its for the 2nd gen eclipse spyder but its the same motor just rotated i believe
