Hey everyone- I just purchased a 1993 Mitsu 3000Gt as a project car. The car needs new fenders, new lights, lots of interior work, and some engine work. Here are my questions. 1. Since its a junker, about half the engine has been picked away. I figure that Im better off replacing the whole block, so my question is: Should I put in an SL engine and turbo it out w/ aftefrmarket parts or should I just purchase a VR-4 engine and put that in? Also, what other mods should I do to the engine? Im looking pretty much for speed. 2. Flip lights are the bane of the 3000gt- I love the other style headlights. But the conversion kit is waay too expensive, so I was thinking of just taking another set of headlights and modding them into the body. Any suggestions on what headlights to use? I was thinking gen 3 eclipse or the latest generation nissan altima. 3. The exhaust needs to be replaced, so I want a nice sounding system. Not too loud, but definately deep toned. Any recomendations on exhaust systems? 4. Where can I find euro style lights? Thanks in advance-

man you are taking on a high dollar project but here you go. www.Ebay.com look under the words dodge Stealth all kinds of fenders seats you name it. The DOHC 3.0 six is the best motor for the car because its kind of heavy at 3150 lbs thats a ballpark figure. www.3sxperformance has the light kits and allot of other stuff for Stealth Mitsubishi both cars are the same but minor body diffrence but most parts are the same and built in the same plant. Some people say the dodge is not as good of car but they have thier head up thier butt they are the same. the 1993 and above DOHC engines were four bolt main bearing engines 1992 was two bolt. Sometime in 1995 I think it was the horse power was reduced I think to meet EPA standards so the early motors 93-94 are more ponies stock wise. I have dealy with the guy who is in Tenn at Ebay he is right on the guy in New Mexico is evasive with questions and I don't like it when someone plays Pumbah with me so shop wise. If I can help let me know. A guy has a parts car on www.autotrader.com a Stealth for $800 says it has lots of new parts looks like crap but may be a good deal for fenders and interior parts, don't know if its a drive away or not.
