Emonz you should start a soud clip post of all the exhaust and BOVs.

I dont have one for hte BOV sounds on an EVO...all I have is a video of my car with the stock BOV vented to show how loud stock it when vented but again the car doesnt run very well that way

Yeah, even with the mod chip that help stabilize the idling, if ur running vented, it still doesn't perform as well as a recirculating bov.

Just some quick information:

I recently installed an Injen Intake system w/IC pipe and my BOV was much louder than stock and you can clearly hear air being sucked into the intake when getting into boost. My brother has a K&N Typhoon intake on his Evo 8 and you can hear the BOV but it's not near as loud as the Injen Intake. I can drive down the street and people hear it when the BOV does its thing. I also saw you pointed out the Evo 8 has a plastic BOV. This isn't the case for the Evo 9, it comes with a steel/metal BOV.

ya the EVO8 BOV is known for leaking boost over 18 PSI, on mine I can hit about 21 PSI and fall to 19 by redline, so A new BOV is needed in my case
