just curious the mathematical equation lol, sorry guys its just something I would like to know and maybe others too.

depends on a few things but 1PSI ~ 8-15WHP

and one big depending factor is the size of the turbo. 10psi on a small t25 is ALOT different than 10psi on a big T4.

so how much power would 10psi on a t25 give, n wat bout a t4?

a T25 wont give alot at all, maybe 70HP roughly and the T4 at 10PSI might get you around 100. those are guesses but the more efficient turbo you have the more power a given pressure will be. Hence the reason T25s are often swapeed with 16Gs and still only run stock boost pressure.

other things that may make a difference would be supporting mods of course intake\exhaust and all that must play some roll in it somewhere

Ofcourse there's even more that has to do with the turbo itself. Like the type of turbo, housing sizes, intercooler size, whether the intercooler is air/air or air/water, the efficeincy of your cooling systems. In the world of turbos cooling is a major player. The cooler the air the more compressed it becomes which equals more power, a la the cold air intake. Another thing is back pressure. Too much and you're losing HP too little and you sacrifice torque. And then there's engine displacement. That effects power gains as well. there's a lot of variables involved in it so the real answer to how much HP does 1psi get you is a lot of questions and then it's only an estimate based on vehicles with similar builds.

ats the diff. between air-2-air IC n air/water IC? I've always wondered bout that.

heavier and more complex, but they take up less room. They're good for cramped engine bays, but if you're pushing upwards of 1000hp they aren't going to be able to handle the load effectively.
