Hey, you guys prolly noticed i haven't posted in a while, i've been outta the country.  My grandma got real sick and since she lives down in Trinidad(in the Caribbean) my Dad and I went down just in case.  But holy crap, i rode shotgun in a 4 door r33 skyline turbo(my uncle's neighbors car, i begged and he was like "yeah whatever"), and i got to see a r34 gtr getting torn down!!!  Oh my god, that was an awesome car.  It was wrecked and just bought over from japan, the only thing wrong with it though was the rear diff and axles was torn up.  The shop tearing it down was really like a small shop....the owner had an s13 with a ca18det in it.  Anyways, they said they got the skyline for cheap because once the awd system goes out, the car is too expensive to fix and can't really run, so it's like dead weight.  I got to see everything, the two garrett t3 turbo's, the "neo" valve cover, i got to sit in it and everything.  They were parting the car out because it was worth more in piece's rather than as a whole.  I was gonna take something...but couldn't figure out what...so i took the most noticeable thing on a skyline.  I got the rear "GTR" symbol.  Well, they gave me all the signs because i told them we didn't have this car in the states and this was the first time i'd ever seen it.  I gave one of my cousins the skyline lettering, and the front "gtr" decal, but the rear was mine.  It is mint and totally cool.  They bought the wrecked skyline for like 200,000TT which is like $30k down here.  That's like the coolest thing ever....the skyline sedan i rode in was pretty nice too.  It had the 2.5l single turbo six in it and was rwd only....but it was still a freakin skyline!  Down there, Nissans are like the car of choice.  I saw a few other cars too, an fd3s rx7 with the newest style bumpers(not sure what it's officially called, but it's the 99+ front end), a diesel galant, and a really cool AWD corolla.  The "c-rolla" was nice looking, it had the previous generation body style(ae111, i think that's right), and said "all wheel drive" right where our eclipses would have "spyder" written on it.  I looked beneath the car and it did have a rear diff, so i was amazed.  Also saw a bunch of silvia's, no s15's though, a jza80 with a body kit, and got to ride in a toyota chaser too.  But it was pretty nice, my grandma's ok.  It was like a mini vacation.  I went to a few clubs and stuff down there with my cousins, went to the beach and had an awesome time, and saw all the rest of my family.  I took my laptop down there, but aohell was being stupid and wouldn't connect to the local numbers, only the numbers i had set up here at home.  I didn't wanna run up my grandma's phone bill(we stayed at her house, which goes to my dad when she passes away), so i got on real quick, download my assignments and then got off.   I know a few of you PM'd me, and i'll respond as soon as possible.  I'm not brushing you guys off, but i gotta get caught up!  Taking a vacation in the middle of the semester is not a good idea.
