I am looking for any mods that can be cheap, easy, and fun to play with. I want to put on a turbo kit, but don't know which one to go with. I am thinking that 420A series will mod with mine, but I don't know. I have a 2000 Eclipse GS 4cyl. 5spd 2.4L. I already have it lowered, front strut, header, cold air, and fuel pressure regulator done to it. Help me out guys, I want to beat that MUSTANG!!!!!!!!! Thanks!

Tearstone turbo kit is the way to go. Also think about bigger exhaust, camshaft, cam gear, plugs and wires...

Tearstone.com best turbo kit out for that car. and a 420A kit is totally different I dont think it will work on the 4G64. and for what it is worth I know Russ personally (the owner of Tearstone) and have bought from him a few times he has very very fair and reasonable prices and fast shipping def. worth doing business with

The 4g64 shares the same exaust flange with the 4g63 motor that comes in all turbo charged eclipses.... get creative.

Thanks guys, but I am looking for a cheaper turbo system. I am thinking about customizing my own. I just need to know the parts to get. I want to make it intercooled. I am on a Marine Corps Air Station so I don't really have much time or money to drop, but I manage to add what I can when I can. A guy I work with is sticking a supercharger on his mustang, and I know I can beat him. I got him the other night with just what I have. I am wanting to blast him away. And I know I can with the boost, but just need to know the parts list and I will shop around. Thanks again.

you can use alot of parts from the 1G/2G turbo'ed eclipses.

turbo - T25(stock 2G) or 14b(stock 1G)
turbo manifold - get a custom downpipe made so you can retain your a/c. if you don't need your a/c, then just take it out and leave the manifold like it is.
1G BOV
440 fuel injectors - you will need resistors to make work
2G Walboro 255lph fuel pump
custom made intake and intercooler piping
intercooler - i can get you the sizes that other 3G 4cyl eclipse owners have used.
SAFC - use only if running low boost. anything over 6-8psi, you will need a more robust fuel management system like the Emanage.

since those turbos are internally wastegated, you can either leave them like they are, or block off the wastegate and use an external wastegate.
