I am thinking about putting a turbo on my '00 eclipse GT, but i dont know if i should? Should i build around it first or get the turbo first? I am plaining to look to spend about 3-4 g's on my ride when i get back from Iraq. What would u recommend?

Thanks,

Go to tearstone.com and get that kit. I know of a bunch of GT guys that have been running that kit for a while now on the stock motor.

and you will need more than 3-4 grand to turbo your GT.

ya... look at $5-$6k if you want to add some extras on top of the kit itself

i'd say a minimum of $6k for just the necessities. ~$4700 for kit, $500 for gauges, $800 for clutch(w/ labor)

if you only have 4- 5 grand your better off building your motor and spraying nitrous.

that is possible but it is MUCH more worth it so save for the turbo... 3G GTs on N2o only see mid\low 14 second 1/4 miles when the turbo on the stock motor will hit 13.5s without rebuilding the motor and running high boost
