No personal experience obviously, but the Viper is supposedly hard as hell to launch, I'd give the win to the Typhoon or Cyclone also. From a roll may be another story though. Either way, that would be a great race to see.

another fast car my ex-girlfriend had it not sure what year it was but it was a plymouth duster and not the old muscle cars it looked like a sundance or a shadow it was a little lite ass car with a mitsu 3.0L 5 speed thats the same motor i got in my 3000gt.....i know its not the exact same motor but that thing used to do one hell of a smoke show it would have been one hell of a platform perfect sleeper

The Lincoln LS with the V8 in it.. The car is a heavier car, but the motor moves that thing along.. Specially at higher speeds...

A buddy of mine that lives down the street from me has a Starion that he did a 4A-GE swap into and that **** is hella fast. He told me that hands down, could be faster than a Z06 because it's so light.

Isn't that like saying I don't know?
BTW, the starion/conquest hovers just over 3000lbs for the manual trans and the ZO6 is right around 3100-3200 for 2000 and up models. That equals what...2/10's of a second over a quarter mile track on otherwise equal cars?

I don't know if someone said this yet. 1999 SHO Ford Taurus, Aluminum V8 front wheel drive. Only made for one year. Also, I had a 1999 DOHC Taurus, Mofo would haul a$$!
