Hi, I drive a 97 eclipse rs. the problem is that the car is squeeking from the pulleys. I checked and figured out that it was the the belt tensioner pulley. That thing cost a lot at the dealership so I just put on some grease on the tensioner. That helped for a couple minutes then it starts squeeking again. I also tried the belt spray thing but that didn't help. So I was wondering if there is a way to fix this problem? I don't want to buy a new one cause it cost around $116.

any suggestion will be gratefull.

SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK    ....... SNAP ! no belt .....  try a parts house for an after market one. sooner or later that pulley will seize and burn that belt right off the car you may want to replace the belt with it also
