I think I saw someone post some information on what to do when water gets in on the driver's side floor when it rains. Any insight on what I can do to prevent this from happen again. (2003 Mitsubishi Monterro Sport LS)

In Gen I's, It usually leaks through your windshield gasket or possibly from the hoses going to your heater core. Does the water smell like coolant at all? If it does then it will be those hoses. if not, then it's probably the windshield gasket. HTH>

It doesn't smell like coolant, so what do you recommend to fix the windshield gasket?

Maybe... assuming you've exhausted all other possible areas where it could be leaking. For example, it could be coming from a sun roof, door leak, etc. Also, I'm not an expert on your model so I can only say what I know about my model montero (1990 4 door v6)
