heres something diffrent i dont think its ben done or even tryed but the neon the engines are pretty much exactly alike to the 420a in the RSeclipse but near the newer models of the neons they made the intake manifold on the front of the engine so the exhuast manifolds would be on the back sorta like the srt4 engine does anyone have any idea if itd be possible to swap an srt4 engine into a rs eclipse

yeah im probably not even gonna swap it out at all for a diffrent engine but i bought the eclipse for 1500$ cause it has a bad vavle so the head is done on it im just gonna try and get another 420A and put some cams in it and couple bolt ons and a turbo and just **** with that for awhile it should be just as fast or faster then a gst

with the right supporting modds it should be faster than a stock GST maybe even some modded ones

im sure that motor isnt cheap...the EVO motor is a $3000 motor add that with all the time and labor behind a motor swap and it will cost alot of money because you not talking about swaping a 4G63 7 bolt for a 4G63 6 bolt which is basic the 420a vs SRT4 motor is huge youll need every thing right down to the ECO and wire harness. then add that cost on top of what he has already paid for his car. I bet he would be better off just buying an SRT4 if that is the case.... and or building on the motor he already has.
