haha sucker. you should just be poor... like me... then you get your school paid for by the state. [:D] okay okay. you win. but still... a lot about a car depends on your opinion.

Lol the state does pay for me, which is why I only gotta pay $1200. ;)

That is indeed very true, about the opinion thing.

But American cars being crap for long-term investments is generally not an opinion, but fact.

jimbollina -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 3:30:06 PM)

but cheaper.

Silvertooth -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 3:33:36 PM)

And that would be WHY they are cheaper, lol. Crap = cheaper

jimbollina -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 4:55:31 PM)

aw tear. you called my camaro crap. [:(] i love my camaro. *sniff* so what's your opinion an 84 trans am? the same?

WIECLIPSEGUY -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 5:06:44 PM)

Your Camaro is not Crap!!![:@] I have also a 1987 IROC-Z TPI 350 .060 OVER CAM ....etc
I have $12,000+ under the hood. American Sleeper might you say!!![sm=americanasmiley.gif]

That doesn't stop me from learning about the 97' Mits Eclipse that I just got, so please don't bash... Let them build what they want to build....

so great news... just got back from looking at the car... dad says we can go for it. There's some 17 year old punk kid that says he's coming Friday w/ money to buy it from the guy but the guy says he'd rather sell it to me. Knows I'll take care of it, not beat it up or try to be hot **** in it. So if all goes as planned I'll have the car Friday or Saturday... and be able to get some pics up. [:D]

Silvertooth -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 9:54:44 PM)

I say they are crap reliability-wise. Generally speaking, American cars are built for power and comfort, not for durability. If I had my choice, I'd drive a mitsubishi to work and back and an old-school muscle car on the weekends. Alas, I somewhat combined the two and drive a mitsubishi sports car.

jimbollina -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 10:18:14 PM)

who says they're not for durability? my 89 camaro is running just fine and look how old it is.

Silvertooth -> RE: That's cool (2/8/2006 10:25:21 PM)

Then maybe you take extra good care of it. Maybe it's not the general car I am takling about. Maybe it's a fluke. How should I know? Lol.
