There are several alarm/security systems that you can buy with a built in Turbo Timer feature. You can set the alarm and walk away with the alarm system enabled and engine running at the same time. It will then shut down the engine after a predetermined amount of time. Much better and more cost effective than a stand alone Turbo Timer.

this is a good thing to look into. not only do u eliminate the need to wire more things into your ignition system and have one less thing waiting to get stolen in your car, but factory alarm systems on eclipses dont get along with turbo timers. i personally have the clifford concept 100 and it has the turbo timer feature set to 90 seconds, very convenient. If i do some hard driving or racing, ill use it, if not i just shut it off. I am boosting 22psi on a b16g, been going on 40k miles on the turbo and it still works like new, no shaft play whatsoever. Booya :)

I personally think the idea of a turbo timer is cool, letting your car idle to cool down.. But like talon said with all the other cars that have turbo's and dont have a turbo timer.. Manufactures know what there doing and if they thought it was that important to let the car cool down after driving it, they would have put a turbo timer in all of them...

I personally would put one in tho just for the fact I think its a cool idea..
