Has anyone been able to find a strut bar that'll fit the Outlander?
I know the Airtek guys all have them, but I'm not sure it'll be the same one.
Thanks!

To put a concern to rest. Has anyone tried to fit a RalliArt strut bar from the Lancer on the Outlander?

I know the engine is the same. Are the strut locations? I think they might be.

That would work but there is a pump over one of the srtuts....which makes it very hard to get on without lowering the pump. I'm looking into getting one for the Airtek...I think that'll fit nice.

Let us know when where and pricing.

Is the pump you're thinking of the brake fluid resevior? If so, I've looked under the hood of a Lancer RalliArt and the strut bar is offset to avoid it. Very crafty.

I may have found the answer. www.roadracemotorsports.com
I spoke with Rob via email and he believes that the Lancer RA strut bar they make will fit the Outlander. It's $130, but he's located right here in southern California.
He said that I could purchase one and if it didn't fit, I could send it back for a refund less shipping, but that's a lot of hastle and shipping for me with no sure thing.
If I'm ever in Santa Fe Springs, I'll be sure I stop by his shop for a test fit.

The stock Lancer RalliArt strut bar will not fit the 04-05 Outlander. I went to my mitsu dealer and parked my Outlander right next to a RalliArt. Though the strut bar may fit the struts identically, a retrofit is not possible because of the location of the brake fluid container on the Outlander.

If I were willing to make a new bracket for the brake fluid resevior, it would be possible to offset it far enough to make a clear path for the strut bar, but I'm not going to do that. Just a little FYI before people go trying to fit an RA strut bar on.

Yeah....I knew the Brake Fluid resevior would be the problem. I really think the strut bar for the Euro Outlander will work. I tried the Lancer one awhile back....it came down to dropping the Brake resevior low enough to fit the strut bar.
