What would u think if someone was to take a Evo VIII and put the Evo IX engine in it? I mean with everything like ecu, wiring, etc, etc. I think it would be awsome considering that the IX's engine has the MIVETC and the 20G turbo. Also what exhaust do u think is the best for the Evo VIII?

Anyone who is stupid enough to swap the entire motor shouldnt even own the car. The bottom end is the same so the bloc kis a waiste of money and time, you can just do a head swap(which wont be cheap, but cheaper than buying a $3000+ dollar motor) and send the 16G out to buchur racing and have them do a 20G compressor wheel upgrade to it for under $1000 and you would have the same car.

for the money you could make your VIII better than a stock IX would be ya know... I have $950 into my car and my car is as fast if not slightly faster than a stock IX I just dont have the instant TQ.

as for the Exhaust that really is preferance. I have Megan it is cheap but top quality and sounds awsome(kinda a little loud though if you dont lke that )
