i was searching the web for the 10th anniversery of the eclipse (the 99) and i foudn this instead http://www.teamasylumracing.com/Gallery_Chucks_conversion/index.htm

why would you go through all that work for this.. i just dont get it...

Looks like the mickey mouse club did the cutting and welding on the structural portion. My high school shop class welds looked like that and I sure as hell wouldn't trust them to hold my car together. But hey, he has a Ditsubishi. Good for him.

now,i have seen "avengers" made out of GSX/GSTs, because they wanted an awd turbo car that looked like an avenger..but why the hell would you want a car that looks like a (good running) eclipse, but only has the capabilities of a (bad running) avenger? ive also seen an avenger with a porsche front end...

the porche front end probably looked cool... but having that guy have his car look like ours is kinda of a low blow to eclipses everywhere....you got pics of the porch front end avenger?

no..i wish...i saw the porsche avenger several years ago..the guy had tons of money and time into it...i think that it had an AWD setup out of a GSX or TSi...i know that it was a turbo car..
