It looks awsome and I'm sure the engine will be nice but not as much muscle as the original.

well, depending on the price, i fully intend to buy one, unless DCX screws up and makes it another "elite vehicle"...

I think the demand for this car will be far too high to be another Viper. Viper's an okay car, but for the price of "prestige" or "status", no thanks, I'll take the 06 Vette Z06 and I'll keep my extra $15-$20K, even with a level price tag I'd take a Vette. So "everyone has a Corvette" or "I want to be different". Okay, be different and buy a car that does it's job well and is not overpriced just for the sake of being overpriced. BLAH! Okay, I'm done. But seriously, Dodge can pull in some serious sales number ESPECIALLY if they offer a cheaper six cylinder model....not my preference though.

I wish I was a turbo car guy. My budget has yet to allow me a turbo car. I think some time ago you said you paid like $24k for your car... by me the 04 and 05 EVO's are still $28-$29K. I just checked it out last week and thought damn, it's just about to lose the warranty and it's still pulling in that much money....
I would love to drop the RIPP kit in my car but cannot afford it right now, actually I can, but am spending the money on a family vacation instead. Damn, Damn, Damn. There is no respect for the Outlander in the speed category, and very rightfully so. I would have a lot of fun with a turbo in it. I intend to make it a sleeper(long term). My few mods thus far have yielded nothing to speak of in terms of performance gains... the AWD and auto kill me. I'm looking into the underdrive pulley and possibly the ported and polished intake. Any suggestions aside from selling and engine swapping would be appreciated!!!! My car is slow, and heavy but you work with what you have.

I paid $22k for mine and the asking price was $26995 it had 12000 Miles on it so just broken in and it is on 03. That is in Florida too where I bought it. You gotta play the game with the dealer to get the price that suites you best

I'm all for playing the game with the dealers, but not having a warranty on that car doesn't sound like fun to me,,,not saying it isn't reliable, but if something breaks, there goes the bank. Nice negotiating on your part!

ya man I have my factory mitsu 60K warrenty for 48000 of the 60K. so nearly a 50K warrenty for me on the car isnt bad at all. Like I said the deals are out there. I almost bought one with 2,500 Miles on it for the same price but I liked the black better and it the black had a sunroof and all options the other did not. BUT I played the 2 cars against easch other since they were at diff dealers.
