if your only seeing 4 PSI you have a leak... NO IC loses 8-9PSI more like 1-2. I still same you have a boost leak some where. it may not leak enough to cause any problems with the car running just enough to lose all the PSI

You have a leak!!! What did you do to check for a leak?? Just put 2 and 2 together, you had boost before you put this stupid IC on and now you cant build boost. Its a leak or you didn't hook the vacuum lines up properly. I don't know why you went with the 3" piping, that is way to big for that car, your car will run worse with this setup you have.

Lets see some pictures of this setup! What did you use for clamps?

NO!!! what the hell is revving the car going to do!! You don't build any boost that way and how the hell can you tell you are leaking that way. Thats what I was getting at......its the most assinine thing I have ever heard. You need to do a leak down test, do that then come back here. Also take all the silicone couplers and spray them with hair spray before you put them on.

PICTURES!!!!!!

did u read the whole post NESPEED? THE ENGINEER asked if i tryed reving my engine to see if my boost guage was working correctly and if any air was leaking out. and i answered by saying i tryed reving the engine. and the only reason i got this piping was because someone had it and gave it to me. and the intercooler on the car is leaking air right now so im not sure it will run worse NESPEED.

but were gonna try to to to a friends muffler shop and see if i can get some piping made; if not ill have to put back on the stock intercooler, lso we didnt try hair spray but we sprayed the couplers with some other spray and it didnt seem like air was leaking.

how is the bov mounted on the UIP. That could be where the broblem is. I really doubt that it is the intercooler.
