take out the stereo (including that box of 15's in the trunk) and back seat. glass weighs alot too. replace it w/ lexan, cf hood,& if you got 5pt harnesses you could take off the doors

and get rid of that 60lb spoiler on the trunk. hmmm take out the airbags did I miss anything?

If you want to get serious in making your car lose weight replace the whole body with carbon fiber.

But than again you would be driving a death trap.

Has been done though.

As nice as that would be. I cant afford cf yet. anybody know what kind of racing seats are the best? also how much are they.

Monza or Sparco racing seats are popular cost may vary around $260 - $300 each.
