ok, so has anybody noticed how much the eclipses weigh. Freakin tank. They brought our fire dept a 95 eclipse to tear open as training using our Spreads and shears aka (jaws of life). With 78ksi cutting force we had to lumber cut the A post 5 or 6 times to cut through the bundle of steel rod. Great, makes for a very stiff bodied car. sweet when you are rally racing but it means a low HP light weight honda can beat you off the line till you can get the tank rollin. 3800 lbs... anybody know how to lighten them up at all?

good idea for race day... but for a daily, and the fact that it is a miniature... Ill keep it.

Im gonna move towards removing the A/C, using lighter parts such as seats.

Unless you have bigger rims for your car the spare tyre isn't going to do much help anyways.
