Hey all I have a quick question. I ran my buddies scanner through my 99 eclipse and two codes popped up. 1494 and 1495, if anyone knows what these codes mean or if there's a website that could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have the P1494 code coming up as well. I searched and found it could be a leak. I was thinking about hooking the smoke machine up to my car. Would this help? Any suggestions, please.

Don't bring back old threads. Make another but include your search results in it.

P1494 Leak Detection Pump Switch or Mechanical Fault

To answer your question, I am guessing this is a vacume leak of some kind. Perhaps a blockage or leak in the EGR some place. That is all I can gather.

Well after I fill it, you can smell strong gas smell. I replaced the filler neck because that was leaking before and appeared to be the only part leaking. I can only smell it, don't spot any puddles. Tomorrow I'll hook the smoke machine up to it and see how it goes.

You could just try and remove the battery for 1 min to reset the ECU, and see if the code stays off. Sometimes it can be a freak and just throw it.
