recently I got a 1998 eclipse rs. my engine light is on when I drive. I wanted to read the codes using 'KEY METHOD' on-off-on-off-on within 5 seconds. Somehow this trick does not works for me. I tried 1000 times different methods and nothing makes that light blinking.
The light goes off always when the key is at ON position and engine is not running. It turns on as soon engine is running. Besides my SRS light is on too - is there possibility that codes can't be read when srs is on?
