I'm wondering, how fast a gsx could go. And also, what would have to be done to it.

stock 14.9ish.

Fastest and street drivalbe low 10s I have seen so street driven GSXs (shepard) run low 8s and I think he might have hit 7s now.

But to get low 10s you will need a built motor head to toe a GT35r or something like that and a bunch of other stuff.

To get 900AWHP on an EVO it costs a around $20k maybe a little more in mods and tuning and a 2.3L kit. the EVO has the same motor. 900+ hp will hit low 9s all day long...actually at 808 the EVOs are running 9.4s at 650ish on the 2.0L kit the EVOs average out 10.1s but have hit 9.9s

Top speed is 130mph... thats how fast it can go with the stock ecu. The only cost is the car.

Shep did hit 7's there was a vid of him doing it on sjdsm.

I would estimate to get your car into the tens it would cost around 15k. But basically your car can only go as fast as your budget allows. On basic bolt ons you can get it into the low 14's pretty easy. high 13's with a little bit of extra's.

I have had my fwd tsi at 145mph and i did a gear ratio calculator with 235/45r17 tires and it said the car could be at 168mph at 7000rpms. Were you wondering top speed or 1/4 speed?

........You really should be more specific with this question. Standard bolt on's low 13's high 12's easy.

fast refers to top speed, quick refers to qm, and the question is vague based on no parameters.
