What Car is This From?

TheEngineer -> What Car is This From? (3/20/2006 2:57:23 PM)

Ok i guess i'll start this game up. Here are the rules:

1) ONLY post your guess of what the car is (try and be specific). You may also post the engine code if you like. That way people can learn those also.

2) After about 2-5 days the answer will then be posted. It all depends on how many responses we get. If we feel that everyone has guessed then it will be posted.

3) Once it is posted someone else may post another engine pic.

4) only one engine pic may be guessed at a time.

*anything not following the rules will be deleted. Oh yea, and dont cheat and look it up, try and be honest. i guess you can look up engine codesif need be but dont go lookin for pics.

I'll start it with an easy one i guess just to get things started off.

easy answer for you since it is your color and besides that I dont thin 1Gs came in that color. plus if you know you stock turbos you know that isnt a 14B soooo it norrows it to a 2G or a JDM older EVO which I didnt ise a T25 and Im not to sure what differences te Early EVOs had from 1G/2G DSMs

99clipsgst -> RE: What Car is This From? (3/20/2006 6:32:25 PM)

I say it is a 95 Eclipse gst. I say 95 because on the intake manifold it has a ECI stick like the 1 gen turbos had.

Also the position of the fuse box tells me it's not a 1G either. And I thought we were doin unmodified engines... Besides the obvious intake and BOV mods he's also got a Fuel press guage hidden back there and obviously a stereo system in the car...

TheEngineer -> RE: What Car is This From? (3/21/2006 12:27:17 PM)

ok i will now give the solution. You were all right that it is from a 2g engine bay. The trick is that it is not a 2g engine. It is a 1g 4g63t 6 bolt.

Here is the next picture

I figured that out last night after talking with Keith about the intake manifold and argueing for a minute. at first I thought it was a T25 but I brightened up my monitor and could see the J pipe just barley after that. and I was thinking who has a 1G swap with only an intake for a mod then I noticed the FPR and other toys
