Vin# Errors - 3/20/2006 6:15:31 PM    ictponder Posts: 597 Score: 0 Joined: 2/13/2006 Status: offline I went to a paint shop today for an estimate and they ran my vin through the computer. It came back with a list of all options on my car, but i noticed some errors. It says that my car has cloth seats, but I have leather. It also says that it has a 5 speed tranny but I have a 4 speed sporty. All the other options (every option the car can have ... *grins*) are correct, but I was just wondering why there were the 2 errors. Look and see if the brake is the smaller indicating a manual WAS in there as well as looking up under for the mounting bracket and or cable for the clutch pedal.
