When I went to start my car this morning the SRS light and Check Engine light came, so I called a friend and he told me to disconnect the battery and reset the ECU which I did. The lights are gone but now it will not Idle at all, at first if I had the A/C on it would idle but it won't even do that now. Is there a way for me to reset my Idle?? Thanks for any help.

How do you reset the ECU on my Galant? Don't know if I did it right.

First all you did is just get rid of the SRS light. You didn't solve the problem. Take it in and have them read the codes. Tell me what the codes are and I can look them up for you.

Second if you have a 1999-2003 Galant you don't want to touch the idle screw or anything on idle. Not sure what year you have.
