Here is what you need to do to fix the lagging computer. goto www.downloads.com and get ad aware SE and Spybot search and destroy. they are both free and they catch things that antivirus skip. Next i'm assuming you have win xp or 2k open my computer then right click on the hard drive and select properties. you will then see a button that says disk cleanup click it and after it searches your pc a window will pop up. make sure you check all of the button then click on the advanced tab. there should be 3 buttons click the one that says windows backup. then you will want to remove all but the most current back up. then click ok on all the windows and yes when it ask if you are sure. this should help alot. also go into internet tools and click on connection. ther will be and advanced button or a lan setting button click it and make sure the box in the top lefts is checked. it should be something like get connection type automatic. then click ok and you should be good togo. After you run the scans form the 2 programs you downloaded let me know how many bugs it found and if it fixed the problem.
Man I wish I knew how to fix things in my car like I do computers.
