Need some serious help. 2001 MONTERO SPORT O2 SENSOR, BANK 2 SENSOR 2 IS GOING BAD. WHERE DO I LOCATE THE SENSOR AT? CAN I FIX IT MYSELF? HAVE HAD FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND BEEN TO MEDINA MITSUBISH 6 TIMS NOW AND THEY REALLY HAVE RIPPED ME OFF, JUST HAD A COMPLETE TUNE UP AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THAT I HAD A HEAD GASKET LEAK.

well as far as i know with most cars the sensors are located on your exhaust piping ussually one after and one before the cat. I am not totally sure with your car having never seen ti before, but my guess is that since its bank 2 then its most likely the one after the cat. You should be able to get the part from autozone for pretty cheap. I know mine wasnt that bad. Then i was able to get it installed for only $35 at a shop. I is ussually easy to do as long as there is not alot of rust. Mine had so much rust on it to the piping that i decided to just have a shop do it and save me the aggrevation.

o2 sensors are always in the exhaust at some poin like said before one before and one after tha CAT.
