Hey, I have a 2001 Eclipse, and the dealership claimed that it came with keyless entry, but never gave be a clicker. After a bit of research, it turns out they lied to me, and teh car didn't have KE. I found a kit online for $40 but I don't know how to install it. Does anyone have a diagram or Step-by-steps on how to put the thing in, or should I just give in and pay the $130 to have it done professionally...and mind you, I am a cheap-ass.
Thanks!

You MAY be a cheap ass BUT are you electronically inclined? Also does your car have power locks? I'd say go ahead and pay for install. That way anything goes wrong then you'll have someone that is obliged to fix it. Whereas if you install it your SOL when something goes wrong.

Spring the money and have that mess done right. My roomate has the Viper System with the Two Way Clicker.. and that thing works awesome... Caught some people that had cut his speaker to the alarm and the remote was going off, he looks out the window and someone had the hood open and was trying to get into his car. Felt sorry for the those ****ers. Spring the $$
