hey guys, just a quick question... is it a bad thing if you can hear one of your fuel injectors from inside your car? i'm pretty sure thats what it is cause i did the screwdriver-stethascope test and the ticking i heard matched perfectly with one of the injectors. thanks

I was going to say, if their is a ticking sound is proly going to be a lifter or soemthing in the head. Take off the valve cover and inspect the lifter by the plug that you think the tapping is comming from, also check your oil level normally stuff like that fails because of a lack of oil.

it doesnt always exactly have to do with how warm the engine is... it does it when its cold sometimees and when its warm

I has to be your lifters. Almost every single mitsubishi does this for some reason. Really it is nothing to worry about. You can fix the problem, but if you sont want to spend any money, its not going to hurt your car.
