Went for fork lift license test yesterday and passed Yay!. I then took it for a cruise down the main street hehe. I also viewed these pics during the test.

Crane Saftey? This one is from where i work...

does everyone here work w/forklifts?
lol..i use all types and sizes....man, when we go out on rough terrain, i get to play on a 10K AT...that thing is bad ass....capable of lifting 10,000lbs & it's got HELLISH sized All Terrain monster tires....i've tried to flip it before...no luck...even though the thing bounces you like crazy!

Nah... screw the 10k... here is a crane... Got to love gov equipment. 350 ton crane. We use it to lift lock gates when we replace them, and also to lift our 80 ton crane onto the barge.

weird.. I figured I as the only one to drive a forklift around.. it is hella fun, but that crane looks pretty wicked.. I'd end up f'in stuff up with that thing though

it takes an entire crew to spot for the thing. And the small crane is used to steady the load. The thing is mounted to its own barge, on a 60' ring that it spins on. it takes a 1300 hp boat to move the whole rig.


Which can be a real challenge during winter...
