Heyas, I have a 2000 Galant that was in a wreck along the passager side (someone T-boned me) When I got the car back from the dealer (repair) it's running good but the idle is jumpy and rough in park or at the stop light in gear... It lags down real low like its gonna stall and then goes back up, still lower than normal it's idleing at about 600-700. When I start it cold I also notice the gas pedal is very hard to push down, like its stuck. Once it's warmed up or you push the pedal down, it seems to be fine. I thought it might be just be the usuall, dirty fuel injectors (i have heard this many times with cars getting wrecked it supposedly loosens up the dirt in your tank and clogs them) but I want to be sure before I start pulling them to get them rebuilt, I suppose a trip to the dealer would help but I despise stepping foot in that place unless absolutely necessary. First thing I'll try is replacing the spark plugs it's about time anyway I hit 30,000 milles. I'm just not looking forward to taking off the air intake! What a pain in the ^$# that's gonna be! Let me know if you know anything about any of this stuff!
