Hey guys im thinking of swaping my 3g ecliplse Gt 24valve v6 engine with a 3000gt vr-4 engine.


Give me some of ur opinions. What do you think about this

ok you cant lol...motor doesnt fit in the bay and it faces the opposite way....it cant be done

swap the exaust manifold for a turbo... that swap works pretty well.

the motor from a VR4 wont fit for a # of reasons mainly the engine bay size is too small even though both are 6G72 motors the DOHC from the VR4 doesnot fit and the turbos are a tight squeeze. not to mention that the VR4 motor is 180 degrees in comparison to the 3G

you will have to make modifications to the firewall to make the engine even come close to fitting.

also, i agree with what Emon says.
