Hey Everyone,

I'm James, and I drive an 02 Diamante LS. I haven't done much to it. Just a K&N filter and some 18 inch wheels. I'll post some pictures up after I clean it this week. I bought the car new in May of 03 as a hold over just after I graduated from Kansas State. I've put 55,000 trouble free miles on it since I bought it. The only real complaint I have is that it seems like the brake rotors warp really easily. I had them honed at about 30,000 miles, and they need to be replaced now. I've looked in to putting some Brembo brakes on it to see if they would last longer. Anyone have some suggestion? I don't need anything crazy as this car will never see a race track or anything, but I would like some nice rotors that will last more than 30,000 miles before they are warped. I do a lot of city driving, so that is why I've wasted them so fast. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

BTW. I also ride an 04 Buell Firebolt XB12R when I'm not in the Mitsu. I've been on a lot of motorcycle boards, but today is the first time I searched out any car boards. I hope this place is as helpfull for my car as the bike boards have been for my bike. I'll try to help anyone I can if I've got the correct info. Here are a couple bike pics. I'll post up the car pics later this week.

I would just go with some drilled slotted rotors. That will reduce alot of the heat that is probably warping them. Also good brake pads are important to. If not warping your rotors is all you want then i would say brembo's are overkill.

BTW welcome to the forums
