im building a 420a engine and its gotta be done by mid june does anybody know if neon JEpistons would work for the eclipse since there both 420a engines and i would buy the pistons ment for the eclipse except there all 20 over bore and im trying to keep the engine at the stock bore

Wiseco sells pistons at standard bore at 8.8 and 10.5 compression and they are a little cheeper than je pistons.

think they would hold up as good as je pistons and later on the engines gonna get a turbo do alot of people use them with boosted cars

I ordered a set for my car a couple of days ago and i will be running about 1.5-1.6 bar on the motor.

Have you looked at the cylinder walls? you might want to take the block to a machine shop to see if it just needs to be honed or if it needs to be bored over before you buy the pistons.

Any time that you rebuild a motor the wall should be honed, even if you do it your self with a ball hone(very crude way of doing it).
