Hey, i got a 2002 lancer oz, i need some advice on weight reduction. im racing my friend at the strip in a few months....does anyone know anything else i can do other than the usual. any advice will help cuz i hafta win this race!

Strip out everything you dont need. Interior... all of it. Take off your rear wing too! Make sure your tires are at a good pressure too. Also... turn off everything electrical on the inside of your car... A/C, radio... everything. I cant really think of much else.

There are some so called saftey features around the car bolted onto the frame u got to look around i have 05 Lancer ES and pulled some items off the front frame that looked like long 1 inch thick tubes of steel weighed about 20 25 lbs each so if u can look under your car for stuff like that as long as it does not affect your performance or drivetrain u should be good and interior and everything else he said above

its a 97 prelude 5 speed stock....yea i saw them round tubes when i bought it, now would it be worth the trouble to take the seats out?? i did it in my camry and it did nothin
