ok so i have a 50 trim turbo that has an internal wastegate set for 7psi. now i have a turbo xs boost controller. when i instaled the b/c my boost went from 7 psi to 12 psi while the b/c is fully closed. i know konw i instaled it right , i have the flow of the of air coming from the turbo then i have it going to the wastegate. has any ever had this happen to them? i jecked for boost leeks have none. vaccume leeks have none.

my boost controller only will give me a minimum of 12PSI but I think the Waistegate is what limits it??!!??

Yes all MBC have a low limit to the psi, kinda sucks. Maybe try a different controller.............

why would you be running a 50 trim at 7psi anyway

ist not that i wanted to run 7 psi is that i want to run 18psi but i did not want to blow my engine up by going over 12psi un tune. i am going to have my car tune today for 18psi i will write back an post my results.

Nice... Dyno tunigng it? maybe get some #s and charts

well i was unable to tune my car. tuner found an exshuast leek between the manifold and the turbo. one of the treads were striped out. tuner said it would be useless to tune because after it would get fixed i would need to tune again. The shop said they would have to retap the turbo but it would be hard because it is cast iron.
