ok so i want to get a Evo III 16g turbo for my 1g Gsx. if it says its a direct bolt on, does that mean thats all i need?,

No that just means you can hook it up to your T-25 mani. You will need a 190lph fuel pump and new injectors if you want to run more than 15psi.

the 16g isnt much of an upgrade to a 14g. i would buy bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, and an safc FIRST, and max out that stock turbo. for 2g's people are lucky if they can hit 13's on the dinky t25, but its quite common to be able to hit 12's on the 14b. after u do all that look into a 50-56 trim or similar

so no need to upgrade turbo's?i was going to upgrade because it seems like my turbo is going bad, it doesnt spool in first gear all the time.

so wait, with the AFC, fuel pump, and injectors, what kind of boost can i run with 14b? and how many hp can i get out of it?

i didnt think about the fact that your turbo is going bad. in that case you could upgrade to a 16g is ya want, but u might be able to find a used 14b for like $50, and it isnt THAT much worse than a 16g. a 14b can hold 20psi to redline, spools very quick, and could probably get about 300whp with all supporting mods

Damn thats a lot for stock turbo. so what do i need again? a fuel pump ( i think 255) and injectors 550cc?
