front end knocking - 4/23/2006 10:06:49 AM    franks junk   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/23/2006 Status: offline 1997 galant 2.4ltr front end knocking. was told there may be a bad idler pulley. after pulling down front end, found a broken belt behind the timing belt. replaced that belt.assembled front end to find the knock is still there. any ideas?
